About This Place

Located in the vibrant heart of Los Angeles’ Koreatown, Brothers Galbi stands out as a premier destination for authentic Korean barbecue enthusiasts and food lovers alike. Specializing in traditional Korean barbecue with a contemporary touch, this restaurant offers a culinary journey through some of Korea’s finest flavors and cuts of meat, expertly grilled to order or prepared for you.

At Brothers Galbi, the star attraction undoubtedly lies in its rich and diverse menu. Their Great King Short Ribs (대왕생갈비) deliver an indulgent experience with perfectly marbled, tender beef bursting with smoky, savory depth as it sizzles on the grill. The Barbecue Grill itself is an interactive centerpiece of the meal, bringing friends and family together over shared plates of premium meats. Don’t miss the Beef Tartare Bibimbap, a harmonious blend of fresh raw beef, seasoned rice, and vibrant vegetables that offers a refreshing contrast to the smoky grill fare.

If you crave something lighter or cooling, the Naengmyeon (cold noodles) bring an icy, tangy punch to cleanse the palate, while the Spicy Short Ribs Soup offers a comforting, warming depth that resonates with authentic Korean home cooking. Other standout offerings include the Bulgogi in an Earthen Pot, which stews tenderly infused beef slices in a savory broth, and the Premium Lunchbox, a carefully curated selection that showcases the best of Brothers Galbi’s flavors in one convenient package.

Beyond the food, Brothers Galbi excels in creating a welcoming atmosphere suited for both casual meals and group gatherings. The dining area is spacious and comfortable—perfect for sharing an array of dishes and experiencing the lively, communal nature of Korean barbecue dining. Several reviewers have praised the attentive service and the option to have meats grilled by the staff, enhancing the convenience for those less keen on grilling themselves.

Customers frequently commend the quality and freshness of the meats, highlighting how expertly the cuts are chosen and prepared. Unique touches like the fresh, flavorful banchan (assorted side dishes), including kimchi, rice wraps, and pickled daikon, elevate the meal further. While some have noted minor variations in seasoning, the overall consensus remains that Brothers Galbi successfully delivers a premium Korean barbecue experience that balances value, quality, and authenticity.

Whether you’re a seasoned KBBQ aficionado or exploring Korean cuisine for the first time, Brothers Galbi provides a rich tapestry of tastes—from the fiery depths of spicy pork to the delicate cold noodles, all complemented by traditional soju and an inviting dining vibe. It’s no surprise that many patrons return, eager to indulge again in this mouthwatering, well-crafted feast.

If you’re in Los Angeles and craving an authentic, thoughtfully executed Korean barbecue experience with a broad menu and attentive service, Brothers Galbi deserves a top spot on your list.

Brothers BBQ was a great find! The food was absolutely delicious—super fresh meat grilled to perfection, and the sliced beets were a surprising standout. The vibe was just okay, but the flavors more than made up for it. Will definitely be coming back!

The prices were higher than what’s listed in the photos on Google Maps. I tried the Gold menu, and the selection of short rib cuts was excellent—the meat quality stood out. The space is very spacious and seems well-suited for group dining. On the other hand, the naengmyeon and yukhoe were somewhat mild in flavor.

First time eating kbbq in Cali. Went for a late lunch/early dinner. My friend and I aren't huge fans of cooking the meat ourselves, so we were happy to find an option were we could order from the kitchen. The banchan was fresh and we were surprised to also receive a pancake. The meat was flavorful and very tender. Much better quality food than what we have in my home state. Also a nice touch to receive the hot tea with our meal. I wish we could eat like this all the time!

Wow Korean BBQ. Some people told me that Korean food is LA is better than actual Korea itself. This restaurant is the reason. They serve everything expected of Korean BBQ at the finest level. This has all you can eat option, which we chose. We will probably do the same thing again next time. It is all-you-can eat, but the quality is not compromised. The service is also great, ad they grill it for you at your table. The place is super kid friendly. This place cannot go wrong, if you are looking for the best Korean BBQ. I could not take many pictures, as I was too busy enjoying the food.

This is the absolute best AYCE KBBQ in Ktown! More than that it is one of my favorite restaurants in general! You get value and quality! Quality of banchan, meat and service! We chose the Silver AYCE package which is just under $50. There are also Gold and Diamond packages which are more expensive. The banchan are really great - some are kimchi, rice wraps, pickled daikon wraps, fish cakes, Korean pancakes, jap chae and pickled shredded daikon. I have never been to a better KBBQ for banchan quality and variety ever! They literally have all the best choices all the time! You choose three types of meat each time. This time we had galbi, bulgogi and thin pork belly. Then marinated chicken. On another occasion we started with galbi, thin pork belly and brisket. Then we had shrimp, octopus and bulgogi. Finally we had small intestine, and two others. All of the meat is top quality. Their meat never fails! Great service! Their grillers are friendly, fast and keep a good eye on the grill. They work very well as a team. The restaurant has great festive ambiance! They play great music and some of the grillers help create a great environment as well. Valet parking and meter parking available.

Cold noodles are good and fresh side dishes. They have their own parking lot but $3 for valet parking. I guess that is reasonable in Koreatown.
